TAKAFUL Brunei Keluarga Sdn Bhd (TBK) hosted a financial roadshow at Sayyidina Ali Secondary School in Kuala Belait yesterday.
Facilitated by the Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD) in conjunction with the National Savings Day 2018, the roadshow was attended by students from Sayyidina Ali Sixth Form, Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Sultan Bolkiah Campus and IBTE Jefri Bolkiah Campus.
The students were given financial saving tips and taught on how they can grow their wealth for their financial protection. They were also taught how to calculate their monthly expenditures, how to utilise monthly income and how to optimise their savings.
TBK also took the opportunity to introduce Islamic Financial Planning to enlighten them on how they can benefit from Takaful protection plan, and protect their savings from any losses due to unpredictable mishaps.
