SYARIKAT Takaful Brunei Darussalam Sdn Bhd (Takaful Brunei) and its subsidiaries, Takaful Brunei Am Sdn Bhd (TBA) and Takaful Brunei Keluarga Sdn Bhd (TBK), recently reached out to the less fortunate members of society, as part of the company’s ‘Jalur Kasih’ programme for the month of Ramadhan.
The Acting Managing Director of Takaful Brunei, Haji Shahrildin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Lela Utama Dato Paduka Haji Jaya, led 24 officers and staff members on a visit of 12 houses, where they distributed food and other basic necessities to several orphans, single mothers, low-income families, senior citizens and individuals with special needs.
The donations are hoped to ease the recipients’ burdens in preparing for the Hari Raya festivities, while forging closer ties among all communities in Brunei Darussalam.
