Takaful Brunei organised a blood donation drive in collaboration with Jerudong Park medical Centre (JPMC) at the first floor of the Takaful Brunei Head Office in Bandar Seri Begawan.

Officials at nearby offices and the public were invited to participate in the blood donation drive.

Carrying the theme ‘Donate Blood, Save Lives. Every Drop Matters’, Takaful Brunei believes in how crucial it is to help in saving lives by donating blood. Successful donors received free popsicles from popular local vendor Kyna.

Takaful Brunei will continue similar missions to create more awareness to the public as well as a reminder that every effort helps.

With their slogan ‘Together We Protect’, Takaful Brunei plans regular blood donation drives as part of their corporate social responsibilities.

SYARIKAT Takaful Brunei Darussalam Sdn Bhd (Takaful Brunei) organised a blood donation drive in collaboration with Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) at the ground floor of Dar Takaful IBB Utama building in Bandar Seri Begawan yesterday.

The event saw over 29 people from various walks of life rolling up their sleeves and donating blood to support the worthy cause.

Takaful Brunei also made it a special occasion by rewarding each blood donor with a free popsicle from local vendor Kyna Popsicles.

Carrying the theme ‘Donate Blood, Save Lives. Every Drop Matters’, this year marked the fifth blood donation drive conducted by Takaful Brunei as part of its continuous corporate social responsibility (CSR) effort.

Takaful Brunei will continue the life-saving mission in the hope of creating more awareness among the public, it said in a press release.

TAKAFUL Brunei Darussalam (Takaful Brunei) yesterday organised a blood donation drive in collaboration with Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) at the ground floor of Dar Takaful IBB Utama on Jalan Pemancha.

Themed, ‘Donate Blood, Save Lives. Every Drop Matters’, people from various walks of life spared 30 minutes of their time to donate blood and show their support for this worthy cause.

This is the fifth time Takaful Brunei has conducted a blood donation drive. Last August, Takaful Brunei Keluarga (TBK), one of Takaful Brunei’s subsidiaries, received positive response from their blood donation drive at TBK’s head office in Kiulap.

The need for blood remains constant and this activity is relevant to help sustain an adequate supply in the national blood bank.

Repeated blood donation may also help to improve the flow of blood in the body which will lead to a healthier and longer life.

Takaful Brunei will continue this life saving mission in hopes to create more awareness to the public as well as a reminder that every effort helps.

The event was held at the Takaful Brunei Keluarga (TBK) Head Office in Kiulap. More than 30 people donated during the event.

Carrying the theme ‘Donate blood, save lives. Every drop matters’, TBK believes on how crucial a simple contribution of donating one’s blood is to saving lives, a press release said, adding that the national blood banks are always in need to blood supplies.

This year marks the fourth year the blood donation drive was conducted by Takaful Brunei. Takaful Brunei will “continue this life saving mission in hopes to create more awareness”, the release said.

Takaful Brunei recently received the Best Takaful Company in Brunei for 2017 during the 11th International Takaful Summit in London, Kensington. A pivotal contribution to winning the award was its continuous corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts and bringing Bruneians together towards a meaningful cause.

With the slogan ‘Together We Protect’, Takaful Brunei plan to conduct regular blood donation drives as part of their CSR efforts.

TAKAFUL Brunei Darussalam (Takaful Brunei) held a blood drive campaign yesterday in collaboration with Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC). The campaign, which reflects Takaful Brunei’s principles on saving lives, took place at the company’s premises at Jalan Pemancha.

Over 30 people stepped forward to donate blood.

This is the second blood drive organised this year by Takaful Brunei. In March, Takaful Brunei Keluarga (TBK), one of the subsidiaries of Takaful Brunei, received positive response for their campaign, which was held at TBK Head Office in Kiulap.

Since the need for blood remains constant, Takaful Brunei plans to have another blood drive to be held at Takaful Brunei Am (TBA) Head Office in Beribi.

The company also hopes to hold blood drives on a regular basis, under the slogan ‘Together We Protect,’ as their corporate social responsibility.

Takaful Brunei conveyed their appreciation to members of the public who helped to make its blood donation campaign a success.

According to the management, donating blood is an obvious way for the public to show their commitment in helping one another.

TAKAFUL Brunei Keluarga (TBK) yesterday held a blood donation drive for the second year running in collaboration with the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Blood Donation Centre at its Head office in Kiulap carrying the theme, “Donate Blood Save Lives Every Drop Matters”. More than 10 people rolled up their sleeves and bled in support of this worthy cause.

The two-hour campaign was open to participation by TBK’s valued customers, members of the public as well as employees. Pengiran Haji Md Suffri bin Pengiran Hashim, Chief Corporate Officer of Takaful Brunei was among the donors.

This blood donation drive is part of TBK’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) which shares the belief that every drop of blood donated matters especially in helping out those in need and aiming to provide support and concern towards the community by replenishing the National Blood Bank.

TBK conveyed their appreciation to the donors of this blood donation campaign in making the event memorable.
