Takaful Brunei organised a blood donation drive in collaboration with Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital for members of the public.
Held at the first floor of the Takaful Brunei Head Office in the capital, the blood donation carried the theme ‘Donate Blood, Save Lives’.
Fifty-seven individuals donated blood.
Meanwhile, The Body Shop, in collaboration with Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC), held a four-day blood donation campaign, collecting 174 pints of blood. Held at the Times Square Shopping Complex, the blood donation drive was organised in conjunction with World Blood Donor Day 2022.

SYARIKAT Takaful Brunei Darussalam Sdn Bhd (Takaful Brunei) organised a blood donation drive in collaboration with Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) at the ground floor of Dar Takaful IBB Utama building in Bandar Seri Begawan yesterday.
The event saw over 29 people from various walks of life rolling up their sleeves and donating blood to support the worthy cause.
Takaful Brunei also made it a special occasion by rewarding each blood donor with a free popsicle from local vendor Kyna Popsicles.
Carrying the theme ‘Donate Blood, Save Lives. Every Drop Matters’, this year marked the fifth blood donation drive conducted by Takaful Brunei as part of its continuous corporate social responsibility (CSR) effort.

This is the fifth time Takaful Brunei has conducted a blood donation drive. Last August, Takaful Brunei Keluarga (TBK), one of Takaful Brunei’s subsidiaries, received positive response from their blood donation drive at TBK’s head office in Kiulap.
The need for blood remains constant and this activity is relevant to help sustain an adequate supply in the national blood bank.
Repeated blood donation may also help to improve the flow of blood in the body which will lead to a healthier and longer life.
Takaful Brunei will continue this life saving mission in hopes to create more awareness to the public as well as a reminder that every effort helps.

This is the second blood drive organised this year by Takaful Brunei. In March, Takaful Brunei Keluarga (TBK), one of the subsidiaries of Takaful Brunei, received positive response for their campaign, which was held at TBK Head Office in Kiulap.
Since the need for blood remains constant, Takaful Brunei plans to have another blood drive to be held at Takaful Brunei Am (TBA) Head Office in Beribi.
The company also hopes to hold blood drives on a regular basis, under the slogan ‘Together We Protect,’ as their corporate social responsibility.

At the Islamic insurance company head office in Kiulap, more than 10 people, who included Chief Corporate Officer of Takaful Brunei Pg Hj Md Suffri Pg Hashim, TBK customers, members of the public and employees of company, rolled up their sleeves to bleed for a good cause.
The two-hour campaign themed “Donate Blood Save Lives Every Drop Matters” was the second held in two years and was part of TBK’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which believes that every drop of blood donated matters, as this helps the community and the National Blood Bank to replenish supplies and for those in need.
