SYARIKAT Takaful Brunei Darussalam Sdn Bhd (Takaful Brunei) organised a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony at the Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Malik Mosque in Kampong Tungku Katok on Monday.
Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and member of the Board of Directors of Takaful Brunei Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof was the guest of honour.
Members of the Board of Directors, Syariah Advisory Body, officers and staff of Takaful Brunei were present.
The event also saw the distribution of donations to 47 orphans from Kampong Tungku Katok by the guest of honour.
Takaful Brunei also donated two units of 3HP Carrier air-conditioner and 100 books of Takhtim to the Pengiran Muda Abdul ‘Malik Mosque as Waqaf.
The ceremony concluded with breaking of fast and a mass Maghrib prayer.
